Brakes & Tires Questions
Yes. Total Turf & Auto on NW Topeka Blvd is a working tire shop and brake shop. We mount, balance, and rotate tires, and handle brake pads, rotors, and calipers. Call (785) 925-4040 to schedule.
No. If they measure above the discard thickness stamped on the rotor and are not warped or grooved, they can be resurfaced or reused. Ryan will measure them in front of you if you want to see.
Most drivers get 30,000 to 70,000 miles out of a set of pads. City driving in Topeka and a lot of stop-and-go on Wanamaker shortens that. Highway commuters get more life out of them.
We do alignment checks and will tell you if your vehicle needs one. For the actual alignment we partner with a nearby shop that has a dedicated rack, since doing it right requires equipment we do not duplicate.
Yes. Have them shipped to the shop or bring them in. We charge a standard mount and balance fee per wheel.
More From the Shop
Routine Maintenance
Routine service is the cheapest insurance you can buy on a vehicle.
Diesel Repair

Engine Service & Replacement
When the check-engine light comes on or you hear a knock you have not heard before, you want someone who is going to find the real cause, not guess.
Vehicle Inspections
A 90-minute inspection before you hand over money is the cheapest hour you will ever spend on a used vehicle.
Diagnostics & Electrical
